ESHEL

Would love the chance to visit Hanna Eshel's marble sculpture-filled NoHo loft; there is possibly nothing more ideal. Have a look at T Magazine.

Hanna Eshel is my friend Ory's mom. I remember him saying recently saying that he was in NY helping his mom move. Little did I know just what that meant. What an amazing women. So glad to see the space and the art in print.

She is truly an inspiration; I love her laissez-faire approach to the NYC art scene.

Marybeth: It is great to see her recognized so much recently. What an amazing mother to have—your friend's upbringing must have been interesting (living in that loft?)

Alexa,
I am so glad that I checked back on your post. I would have missed your response.
I love Hanna's sensibilities to her work, family, and living space. It is a gift to us all that she was recognized in print.
No, Ory was an adult when she moved into this space, so he never lived there. One image in the Times was a collection of photos. I recognize Ory in one photo and his son Jonathan in another.
I am reminded of the Brancusi atelier when I look at Hanna's NoHo loft. Amazing.
