Just dropped in on an SF reception for Dutch artist Christien Meindertsma. I have long admired her flax project and aran knit rugs and both were so much more in person then when seen from afar. If you haven't already, I suggest taking a bit of time out to watch her TED talk on her book Pig 05049. Below are two pieces from the flax project and oak inside, both for Thomas Eyck.
